"There is a little bit of Intermarkets in every successful agency" expressed Mr. Marwan Rizk Chief Operating Officer of Intermarkets as he received the golden award for the 'Pinar' press ad. Rizk stressed that the merge between two giants of advertising in the Middle East has had solid results which 'have already started to speak for themselves'.

The excited team was also called on to receive another golden award for the "Quran.com" press ad that proved to be a successful campaign during its release earlier in 2003 and a silver award for the Maserati commercial and a bronze award for the Rotana ladies night ad. Commenting on the awards, Saad El Zein, the Managing Director at Intermarkets Madco Group Dubai, assertively promised the crowd to expect a bold, solid and strong comeback of the first established advertising agency in the Middle East.

The IAA ATL awards of 2003 received 1500 entries from 49 specialized advertising agencies.

In the seventh month of 2003, two of the largest and most experienced independent agencies in the Middle East merged to form the Intermarkets Madco Group. Together, the group has a total of 12 full service offices throughout the region offering professional services encompassing the entire range of services in the marketing field including media planning, corporate identity and brand design as well as Public Relations and event management.
