Big response from support sponsors for Dubai Shopping Festival 2004

The applications have been sent from a wide variety of companies from many industries, including hotels, retailers and shopping malls. Support Sponsors are valuable partners throughout DSF and will benefit from heightened exposure throughout the Festival which will run from 15th January to 15th February 2004.

Laila Suhail, Corporate Alliance Director,DSF said, " DSF represents a very large, attractive event for many companies be they, local regional or international. These partners have a very real opportunity to benefit from the success of the festival. DSF opens up a wide variety of options for our partners and they will gain increased exposure for the many promotions and offers they are invited to run throughout the event."

She continued, "DSF 2003 had 94 Support Sponsors, judging by the high numbers of applications we have received already this year we have no doubt we will exceed this figure for 2004. Support Sponsors receive many benefits, these include permission to conduct raffle based promotions, waiving of participation/permission fees for promotions across all retail outlets owned by the sponsors and a 25% discount on DSF participation fees for outlets in Support Sponsor shopping malls."

In fact the benefits are considerable, Support Sponsors are also given the opportunity to have two kiosks at the main DSF events (not including Global Village) and any additional kiosks required can be obtained at a special discounted rate. The DSF logo is available to these partners for use in sales promotions and likewise the official DSF Calendar of Events will mention these offers and activities.

There are seven categories for Support Sponsors and these include shopping malls, retailers, brands/distributors, company groups, hotels and hotel apartments, industry/ trade associations and manufacturing organisations (for products of the UAE). The Support Sponsors fee ranges between 40,000Dhs to 150,000 Dhs.

It is expected that owing to the improvements and additional features of DSF this year the event will be an even more attractive partner for many Support Sponsors. Companies are invited to send their applications in no later than the 15th December. For registration calls can be made to the DSF office during normal working hours.
