IT L@w and Biz seminar at DIC

In line with its objective to spread legal awareness, Al Tamimi and Company, in conjunction with Dubai Internet City are hosting a morning seminar, IT L@w and Biz in the UAE 2003 on Monday the 8th of December.

The seminar is intended to bring information technology and media practitioners up to date with new regulatory developments in the industry.

Essam Al Tamimi, managing partner of Tamimi & Company, Advocates and Legal Consultants, will chair the conference. Dr. Omar Bin Suliman, CEO of Dubai Internet City, will deliver the keynote address.

Samer Qudah of Al Tamimi & Company's DIC office will present an "Overview of the Regulatory Developments Relating To Information Technology." and Dr. Zainab Chalhoub of the American University of Sharjah will speak on "Trust in Electronic Commerce & IT Security." Mona Ashour of Al Tamimi will address the seminar on "Latest Developments in Copyright Protection & Enforcement."

A light standing lunch to give delegates the opportunity to network and discuss the issues with the speakers will follow the seminar.

The event will be held in the Al Thuraya Conference Room in Building 3 at Dubai Internet City. There is no attendance fee.
