Qatar Airways to honour travel agents from Dubai and the Northern Emirates

Approaching the end of yet another successful year that saw Doha's national flag carrier reaching more than 48 global destinations, Qatar Airways is taking time off its hectic expansion schedule to thank those that have been part of its phenomenal success.
"We shall once again gather with our valued partners from the travel trade to thank them for the support they have shown us throughout the year and to let them know how deeply we appreciate their invaluable partnership," said Chan Gammampila, District Manager, Dubai & Northern Emirates, Qatar Airways.
The evening, under the benign skies of the Gulf winter, will be held on the lush lawns of the Grand Hyatt estate symbolising the magic and glamour of the travel industry.
Qatar Airways will welcome up to 450 top representatives of the travel trade from Dubai and the Northern Emirates such as Dnata, SNTTA, OTTA and Airlink etc. A separate event is held for agents and partners based in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
Annual awards
The evening will see the award-winning airline honour select partners. There are awards for top-ten partners as well as five appreciation awards. The evening will also see three of the airline's outstanding employees honoured for their service record. Qatar Airways cabin service has been rated as the best in the Middle East by independent agencies.
The airline's top partner will be honoured with the Gold Award. The next in line will be presented the Silver Award. There will be seven Burgundy Awards in keeping with the colours of the Gulf airline.
