Big 5 builds on flourishing exhibition
- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, December 04 - 2003 at 15:32
- PRESS RELEASE
The Big 5 exhibition once again proved its profile as one of the largest and most comprehensive events of its kind in the Middle East.
Paying testimony to the industry's year on year growth, Bob Hughes of dmg Media Dubai Ltd said." The big 5 is the premier event in the Gulf Region, which in turn is one of the most promising markets today. The high quality of professional attendance at the show is also a factor that encourages companies from all over the world to come and take advantage of the business opportunities at Big 5.
Looking forward to the 25th annual Big 5 2004 Hughes added, "Even at this early stage, we are seeing a very high rate of re-booking, and increased demand for more space from National Pavillions."
The event in 2004 will see an increase in hall space allocated, with the Sheikh Rashid Hall at the Convention Centre active alongside hall eight. The dates for next years show have been confirmed as 20 - 24 November 2004.
The Big 5 is also a local forum for Construction and contracting professionals. Although a wide choice of international suppliers ensures local developers are acquainted with the latest products innovations, The Big 5 is also an arena for over 200 local exhibitors, who wish to showcase products to their essential regional markets.
Ambitious private and public sector developments are underway in all Gulf countries and guarantee a steady demand for Construction products sourced locally and abroad. At The Big 5 the finer details of projects like the recently announced Dubailand project, Palm Island or the Dubai Marina complex are specified and refined. Major developments include around 160 new four and five star hotels across the region, not to mention numerous shopping malls and business related construction. The Gulf region also has the fastest growing population rate in the world. A young and rapidly increasing population will result in demand for hundreds of thousands of new buildings and infrastructure this decade.
dmg world media is an international exhibition and publishing company producing around 300 market leading trade exhibitions, consumer shows and fairs.
"dmg world media Dubai make tremendous efforts to ensure this event is an up market, well-run event and our promotional campaign is designed to attract the right kind of professional visitors the exhibitors want to meet", stated Bob Hughes.
dmg world media is led by Bernard Walsh Managing Director and Jonathon Berger Commercial Director, each of whom has extensive experience in publishing and exhibition management.
