Commenting on the deal, Mubarak bin Fahad, DWTC Director General, said: "This high-tech deal is another aspect of our ongoing efforts to innovate and add more components to the event, which attracts a large number of professional and general visitors, and is widely recognised as the region's most important automotive showcase. Our tie-in with AME Info means we get extensive global coverage and exposure immediately and for a long time after the show itself."

"AMEInfo's unique watchlist service means show visitors, exhibitors and other interested parties can choose to view only the news they require at http://www.dubaimotorshow.com. E-mail alerts when there is a new item on the watchlist are also highly effective," Mr. bin Fahad added.

AME Info's 'Watchlist' service is designed to ensure registered users have more time to focus on doing business, rather than trawling through masses of irrelevant news.

The DWTC will also be able to utilise AME Info's unique broadband content provision. "Both the AME Info web site and the Motorshow web site will feature all the press releases from the show, alongside broadband video interviews with Motorshow exhibitors, trade visitors, and senior trade centre officials," said Klaus Lovgreen, Chief Executive Officer, AME Info.

"We are thrilled that the DWTC has once again seen the value of a strategic partnership with AME Info as the on-line news provider of choice for the region's largest Motor Show," he added.

AME Info currently receives millions of hits per month, while the dubaimotorshow.com a business-to-business portal currently averages around 800,000 hits per year. "Together we have created a very powerful platform for communication," bin Fahad added.
