Attended by DTCM Director Operations and Marketing, Mohammed Khamis bin Hareb, and DTCM Manager Overseas Promotions, Khalifa Ali Buamaim, and other department officials, the participants were briefed about the DTCM's calendar of exhibitions and road shows for the year 2004. The department has added four new exhibitions to its list of overseas exhibitions and road shows this year.
The participants were informed about the need to incorporate fresh ideas in the making of the stands for Dubai at the international exhibitions.
Dubai stands are the cynosure of all eyes in the exhibitions and road shows as these reflects the cultural heritage and modern face of the emirate. In the past, Dubai stands have won several prizes at major exhibitions abroad.
Mr. bin Sulayem expressed his views on the subject and told the participating companies to be more creative to make the stands more appealing and attractive.
A follow-up meeting with the decoration companies' representatives is scheduled to be held later this month.
