- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, December 11 - 2003 at 12:23
- PRESS RELEASE
HP (NYSE:HPQ) today announced in the Middle East a range of innovative products that bring vibrant colour printing and imaging solutions in-house while driving costs down.
"In today's competitive business environment presenting the right information to customers or colleagues at the right moment with the best quality is essential to closing a deal or reaching a decision. With HP's latest colour printers, all business-critical documents can be printed in-house, allowing businesses to save costs on outsourced colour prints and get through to their customers before their competition gets there," said Thomas Valjak, Category Manager, Imaging and Printing Group, HP Middle East.
Small and medium workgroups can benefit from new HP solutions for affordable colour printing. As part of their commitment to small and medium sized businesses, HP has recently launched several new colour printers and projectors to enable workgroups to print and present their own affordable company collateral in-house. These solutions include:
HP Business Inkjet 2300 series printer brings affordable colour printing to small workgroups and is networkable for up to eight users. With laser-quality speeds of up to 9 pages per minute (ppm) black and 5 ppm colour, it delivers fast colour performance with crisp, professional looking text and image resolution for marketing materials.
The HP Colour LaserJet 3500 and HP Colour LaserJet 3700 are designed specifically for the small and medium businesses, combining great productivity and reliability with affordable prices. Workgroups can now benefit from affordable colour printing whilst ensuring vibrant results at the ease and speed of printing in black and white. HP's instant-on fuser and fast speeds afforded by HP LaserJet print technology (HP Colour LaserJet 3500: 12 ppm and HP Colour LaserJet 3700: 16 ppm) means that there is no compromise on performance.
The HP Colour LaserJet 3500 is a host-based printer that runs in Windows and Mac environments whereas the HP Colour LaserJet 3700 supports all operating systems and offers PCL and PS print languages.
"As more content and business processes go digital, there is a tremendous opportunity for companies to harness the power of the network to improve productivity and reduce the operating costs across their imaging and printing environments," said Amr Hassan, General Manager Imaging and Printing Group, HP Middle East. "HP's printing heritage expertise puts us in a unique position to help companies take advantage of these new opportunities."
