Air Arabia presents its starting fares and fare structure

In a move that demonstrates and reinforces the airline's commitment to offer customers fares that are lower than market rate, Air Arabia - the UAE's national airline and first low-cost airline of its kind in the region - today unveils its starting fares through a regional campaign and explains the dynamics of its fare structure.
Air Arabia's starting fares vary according to destination and fares exclude government taxes, which vary from one country to another. The fares are all quoted one way to allow customers the flexibility to choose their return destination at their convenience. The way the fares are structured ultimately depends on market supply and demand; hence, fares increase as seats are sold on every flight. Accordingly, the earlier a passenger books, the more likely it is that they will pay the 'starting' fare.
Safety and security issues are paramount to the operation of Air Arabia's fleet; accordingly, the airline is fully insured as per the Warsaw Agreement. Air Arabia's commitment to providing customers with value for money air travel is demonstrated in the difference between the competitive insurance surcharge it adds to its ticket price, as opposed to that charged by other airlines.
Air Arabia's fares are offered at such good value mainly due to the operation of one type of aircraft which provides savings on cabin crew training, maintenance and spare parts; the maximum utilization of aircraft and cabin crew through faster turnaround; the adoption of a 'ticketless' airline concept which ultimately results in saving on paper and processing costs and less hassle for the customer, who need not worry about collecting tickets before traveling as well as omission of free in-flight meals for customers, who are given a choice to purchase their food and drinks at reasonably priced rates on board.
"Travellers in Europe and the United States have had the opportunity to benefit from low and competitive fares offered by low cost airlines for many years. Air Arabia is the first airline in the region to truly adopt this concept," commented Ali Fairooz, Air Arabia's Sales & Marketing Director. "We believe that travellers in this region will benefit from Air Arabia's dynamic reduced pricing system, whilst having more options to travel frequently for business or pleasure," he added.
Air Arabia is currently flying to Bahrain, Beirut (Lebanon), Damascus (Syria), Kuwait and Muscat (Oman). The projected destination list will cover: Amman (Jordan), Cairo (Egypt), Colombo (Sri Lanka), Doha (Qatar), Isfahan, Shiraz and Tehran (Iran), Sana'a (Yemen) and Saudi Arabia.
Air Arabia offers tremendous opportunities to travellers who are looking for competitive fares. It aims to make air travel more convenient and frequent, while providing the lowest fares in the market without sacrificing the standards of quality or service offered.

About Air Arabia LLC:Air Arabia LLC was established as a fully fledged commercial airline of the United Arab Emirates on 3rd February 2003 by an Ameeri decree issued by His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohamed Al Qassimi, the Ruler of Sharjah and Member of the Supreme Council of the UAE.
