- PRESS RELEASE
For the first time since GHEDEX was established Aachen University of Technology has confirmed participation.
GHEDEX is Gulfs only exhibition that offers the higher education and training-oriented visitor a real opportunity to explore the myriad of higher educational opportunities available at today's cutting edge tertiary institutes.
RWTH Aachen is one of Germany's most prestigious schools of higher engineering education. The specific strength of its engineering departments (with about 15,000 students enrolled) is the combination of education and advanced research. Students have numerous opportunities to pursue project and thesis work in the framework of ongoing research activities. Both researchers and teachers who cover a large variety of topics in applied science and modern technology teach courses.
RWTH's engineering departments closely interact with national and international industries. Most of the engineering professors at RWTH once held positions in industry before they became RWTH faculty members. Industrial experts contribute to RWTH's engineering education by teaching special courses. In return, the RWTH engineering departments provide continued education and training for industrial personnel.
The RWTH Master Programmes are targeted at generating engineers who are willing to engage themselves in R & D, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
