A decade ago Tech Data came to the region with 25 employees and three vendors. Today it has an employee base of 120 and distributes products for 20 of the most internationally renowned brands in the IT industry.

Tech Data has been providing retailers and resellers with IT products, logistics management and other value-added services like training, technical support, financing, configuration, and assembly with a consistent level of excellence. Tech Data's team has acquired an abundance of knowledge about the Middle-East IT market and its customers. They have taken this knowledge and translated it into keen insight about how to improve channel efficiency and their vendor/retailer relations. Tech Data has been instrumental in providing support for their retailers and helping them to maintain high margins while keeping prices consumer friendly.
Tech Data started off as a company with a flat organizational structure but has now evolved into a focused vertical business unit structure. This was a pivotal move towards the transformation from a sales-driven to a customer-focused company.
