The ceremony recognised the 18-year partnership that exists between the two organisations and highlighted the successful launch of the Dubai Duty Free American Express credit card.
Launched on 4 December 2001, the Dubai Duty Free American Express credit card, which offers a range of benefits including 10% discount on over 15,000 duty free products, has had a very positive response rate. The co-branded card, which is dirham denominated, is the first American Express card issued in collaboration with any airport duty free operation in the world.
