ComGuard inaugurates NetScreen training facility

According to company executives, ComGuard will offer training on the full range of NetScreen products, that enable network administrators, security professionals and technical personnel to optimize the performance of NetScreen products in their IT environment.

ComGuard's certified, a NetScreen training professionals will lead and run the state-of-the-art facility. Courses will run throughout the week targeting technology professionals at customer sites as well as regional resellers and support engineers. As an authorized training partner, ComGuard invested technical and monetary resources to meet NetScreen's stringent requirements in the areas of certified instructors, training facilities and lab equipment.

"With Waleed Hasan Zeidan, ComGuard has the first certified trainer for NetScreen products in the Middle East, which will greatly enforce the quality of training offered," said Herbert Kamensky, ComGuard's managing director. NetScreen's 'Certified Security Associate' is the base-level certification and the first step in the certification program. This certification prepares individuals to administer, configure and implement NetScreen firewalls and is targeted at end-users. NetScreen Certified Security Professionals (NCSP) are recognized as network security professionals competent in 'security theory' and they are able to install, design, configure and troubleshoot NetScreen advanced security features in enterprise or service provider networks. After the successful completion of the courses, students are required to sit for a thorough examination before gaining their certification.
