In launching the information, AlSharif Abdallah Alluhaymaq, Marketing and Communications Director with the McDonald's Middle East Development Company said: "McDonald's have always been leaders transparency with its customers, and in communicating the facts about their food items. We want our customers to know everything that they need to make informed decisions about what they eat. The leaflets available in the stores contain the facts about our food, and it is an important part of our transparency in serving our customers."

Rafic Fakih, Managing Director for McDonald's in the UAE added: "In addition to serving food made from the highest quality ingredients, we have always been leaders in promoting active lifestyles, encouraging children to participate in sports and active play through our play areas as well as through sponsoring local and international sporting events. Last year, we introduced the McSalads as part of our efforts in providing our customers with menu variety options to balance their meals. Now, we are equally proud to be able to provide our customers with nutritional information about the food we serve them, as part of our continuing efforts in promoting healthy lifestyles."

They are supported by the McDonald's Middle East Development Company, a consulting body that advises them on all aspects of their operations based on the experience of McDonald's service for over 46 million people every day in over 100 countries.
