Delta Air Lines partners with Mashreqbank to offer SkyMiles

Delta Air Lines announced today that it has partnered with Mashreqbank to offer Mashreqbank Credit Card holders an opportunity to redeem MashreqPoints through the Delta SkyMiles Programme.

Under the Delta/Mashreqbank partnership, every 3.5 MashreqPoints may be redeemed for 1 mile in the Delta SkyMiles Programme Miles in the Delta SkyMiles Programme may be redeemed for award travel to more than 450 destinations worldwide on Delta, Song, the airline's new low fare subsidiary, Delta Shuttle and Delta Connection as well as on SkyTeam alliance and SkyMiles airline partner flights.

"Now, when shopping, paying for fuel or settling utility bills, members can earn points towards award travel with Delta and its partners faster."

MashreqPoints are earned every time Mashreqbank cardholders conduct transactions on their card. One MashreqPoint is earned for every dirham transacted and two points on every dirham of interest charged to the credit card

Delta's SkyMiles Programme offers additional mileage-building opportunities through partnerships with car rental companies and exclusive hotels around the world, including the Dubai-based luxury hospitality group, Jumeirah International. Members can also earn miles in the Delta SkyMiles Programme when travelling with Delta's worldwide airline partners including Emirates, Singapore Airlines and Virgin Atlantic, among many others.*

To benefit from the new partnership, current Mashreqbank cardholders should visit www.delta.com/skymiles to enroll in the Delta SkyMiles Programme and obtain a member identification number. Customers also have the option of calling Sharaf Travel on 04 397 0118 (Dubai) or 02 671 3033 (Abu Dhabi) to get a member identification number.

Current customers can convert their MashreqPoints to miles in the Delta SkyMiles Programme by calling Mashreqbank on 04 217 4010 and providing their Mashreqbank credit card numbers along with their SkyMiles Programme member identification number. All Delta SkyMiles programme rules and conditions apply.

Customers who would like to apply for a Mashreqbank credit card can call 04 217 4010 toll free or visit www.mashreqbank.com and start accumulating MashreqPoints for future Delta SkyMiles Programme redemption.
