The magazine is produced in association with Ahlan!, the UAE's biggest selling weekly magazine, and Filmfare and Femina, India's best-read Bollywood and female titles. Masala brings the best of Bollywood and Hollywood, and is the only magazine to also cover Dubai's thriving Asian social scene.
Not only does Masala! beat its monthly rivals to the scoops every time, it's the only magazine that specifically feeds the needs of the UAE market with topical and regular articles including exclusive celebrity interviews, a UAE diary, fashion, recipes and local news.
ITP's publishing Director, Walid Akawi comments:
'Masala is the latest title to be launched from ITP, following hot on the heels of Ahlan! which rapidly established itself as the region's must buy weekly magazine. We are confident that Masala, supported by ITP's high standards of distribution and marketing, will immediately become inispensible to the Asian community. We have the ability to beat the monthly magazines to the scoops and the latest events, and will be able to review and carry pictures of the leading events in the Asian community, both here and abroad, days after they have happened. Masala will carry the same blend of international glamour and local style as Ahlan! magazine, which has proved to be a winning formula.'
Masala! is published by ITP, the leading IT, Business and lifestyle publishers in the Middle East.
