Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group senior management attends DED presentation on quality and service excellence

The Group Managing Director Raja Al Gurg and the CEO SB Jeyaseelan headed the group of 25 officials.

The presentation included an overview of the Dubai Quality Award (DQA), Dubai Quality Appreciation Programme (DQAP) and the Dubai Service Excellence Scheme (DSES).

"The Easa Saleh Al Gurg group of companies was established in the UAE in 1960, and has grown from strength to strength to become one of the premium local private sector companies in the country. We feel that this is the ideal time to move forward and enhance our current status by implementing best practices focused on quality and excellence, which will eventually impact upon our performance and facilitate growth," said Raja Al Gurg. "We have explored various quality initiatives and feel that the DQA and the DSES models are effective tools achieving service excellence across the group," she added.

"The DED explained its various quality initiatives and the detailed presentation has generated a very high level of interest among senior Company officials within the group," said S B Jeyaseelan, CEO of ESAG. "We strongly feel that these initiatives will enable the ESAG group to further improve its operational performance and offer better services to its clients," he added.

"This is the first time since the inception of the DQA, that a local group along with its various subsidiaries has expressed such interest in the quality programmes implemented by
the DED," said Essa Kazim, Co-ordinator General of the Dubai Quality Award and Director General of the Dubai Financial Market ."The Easa Saleh Al Gurg group of companies has taken a lead in this respect and we invite other companies to follow suit", he added.
