Speaking to the press, Mr. Adel Ali, Air Arabia's CEO said: "We are pleased to introduce our upcoming services to these destinations. Our additional travel services will be effective early January 2004 and will ensure that the rising demand of our customers in the region is met". "We are committed to offering our travel services to a bigger base of customers around the region and look forward to expanding our network even further", he added.

Air Arabia flights to Iran will leave every Tuesday and Sunday at 22:20 to Isfahan; every Monday and Wednesday at 10:30 to Shiraz; every Friday at 10:30 and on Saturday and Tuesday at 23:20 to Tehran. Colombo flights will operate every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 20:50, whereas Aleppo flights will take off from Sharjah at 20:00 every Sunday and Thursday.

Flights from Sharjah will operate every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 10:35 a.m. to Alexandria, and every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday to Assiut at 19:00 am. Flights to Doha will operate every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7:00 am, as well as every Tuesday and Saturday at 19:50.

All Air Arabia fares are quoted one way without imposing any restrictions. The way the fares are structured ultimately depends on market supply and demand; hence, fares increase as seats are sold on every flight. Accordingly, the earlier a passenger books, the more likely it is that they will pay the lowest fare. This reinforces the airline's commitment to offer customers fares that are lower than market rate at all times.

"I would like to thank the governments and aviation authorities of the countries to which we will begin flying to for their role in facilitating our operations and all their cooperation in making this possible", Mr. Adel Ali added.

Air Arabia is a Sharjah government-owned airline which is currently flying from Sharjah to Bahrain daily, Beirut 4 days a week, Damascus 3 days a week, Kuwait 3 days a week, and Muscat 4 days a week.

Air Arabia offers tremendous opportunities to travellers who are looking for competitive fares. It aims to make air travel more convenient and frequent, while providing the lowest fares in the market without sacrificing the standards of quality or service offered.
