Arabsat confirms two launches

Arab Satellite Communications Organisation has confirmed plans to launch additional satellites in 2005 and 2006. The Arabsat board met in Dubai yesterday. Officials said the USD305m in contracts would go to European countries with a US and Russian firm handling one launch each.
