Schuler replaces Mac Karlsson, who has moved within the group to the Radisson SAS Hotel, Beijing.
An Austrian national, Schuler has more than two decades of experience in the food and beverage industries, with a career spanning experience in well known hotels in Sweden, Austria and Germany.
He joined the award-winning Radisson SAS Hotels and Resorts chain in 1996, as Executive Chef for the Radisson SAS Palais Hotel in Vienna. He has also worked as Executive Chef at Radisson SAS properties in China and Dubai.
The 43-year old moves to Kuwait from the Radisson SAS Hotel, Slavjanskaya, Moscow; where he was Director of Food and Beverage for the last three years.
Schuler said: "I am looking forward to bringing some fresh ideas to Kuwait, and continuing to improve the high quality of the food in general, in all the properties' renowned restaurants."
He is married with one child, a son.
The beachfront Radisson SAS Hotel, Kuwait, has 200 spacious rooms, and five food and beverage outlets - the Al Bustan restaurant, featuring all day dining with international and local cuisine; the Peacock Chinese restaurant; Al Boom, the famous steak and seafood outlet; the Eedam Café, lobby lounge and gourmet shop, and the Viking Café and Beach bar.
