Empost appoints UAE national lady as Marketing Manager

Hunaida Alakbary has joined the premier nationwide express firm as Marketing Manager.

"Hunaida is young and aspiring. She is a go-getter and has a very positive attitude," said Essa M. Al Daboos, General Manager of Empost.

"These are the qualities that have won her this critical leadership position at Empost. I personally welcome her to the team and wish her all success in her work," Al Daboos added.

He pointed out that 32-year old Hunaida Alakbary has acquired a very impressive track record in a very short period of her professional career.

"I promise Hunaida all the support in carrying our her duties, which I am confident she will be able to do to the best of her abilities and to the satisfaction of all concerned," the Empost General Manager added.

Hunaida Alakbary began her professional life with Citibank in the Visa Credit Card Department in 1994. She continued her education right until 1993 when he graduated with a B.A. Degree in English Literature and Comparative Linguistics. Hunaida also has a Certificate of Achievement in Management in Aviation.

She joined Emirates airline in 1994 as management trainee/commercial officer, by year 1997 she was appointed Manager of Off-line Station - Bahrain. In 2000, she was promoted to Marketing Manager of Emirates Holidays and in 2002 worked in Emirates Group's Procurement & Logistics.

Hunaida has also served as Property Marketing Manager and Client Relations Manager with Dubai International Financial Market (DIFC) and with Middle East Vision, before joining Empost from November.
