Jacky's and Dubai Outdoor Media sign major deal

DOM, said to be the pioneer in bridge banners, Mega Billboards and other related products, has a reputation for delivering both quality and service for the complete outdoor media industry. These traits have meant that business at DOM has increased many fold and to meet this demand consistently, DOM required a large format printer that would meet both the increasing demand for outdoor printing and high quality. The Blaze XLjet met both these requirements.

DOM was first introduced to the Blaze XLjet when they visited the Jacky's stand at Sign & Graphic Imaging 2003 exhibition. It was at this exhibition that DOM realized that the business requirements that they had could be met by the Blaze XLjet and thus started a long term business relationship between the two companies.

On why DOM chose the Blaze XLjet, Akbar Sha Abbas, General Manager, DOM said, "With increasing demand, we found that we were using and outsourcing many print jobs a situation which did not allow us to have complete control over the end product. After scouting the market, we decided on acquiring the Blaze XLjet. This acquisition has made the process much more manageable and cost effective and enables us to take on more business. We were so satisfied with the first Blaze machine that within 3 months we bought another one".

The Blaze XLjet has the flexibility to switch effortlessly between printing in four and six colours. It has a 370 x 740dpi resolution and the option of double-sided printing, thereby giving DOM the opportunity to offer solutions that up until now were not possible.

The superwide format digital printers will be used by DOM to print on a variety of substrates, including self-adhesive vinyl, backlit, pvc or banner, flag, mesh and paper.
