Masafi's astonishing growth from a local product to a world-class international mineral water brand has won the UAE company major awards in Asia and the Gulf region, largely based on its innovating marketing and production strategies.
The Asia Pacific Aqua Awards is a biennial event of great renown within the international bottled water community, and gives an insight into the high calibre of design and innovation on offer from companies in the Asia-Pacific region.
Earlier, at the Gulf Brands of the Decade Awards ceremony hosted by the leading marketing magazine, Gulf Marketing Review to celebrate its 10th anniversary, Masafi was awarded The Highly Commended Award in the FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) category.
The Gulf Brands Awards honoured regional brands that have become household names over the past decade. Masafi was the only mineral water brand to win in the FMCG category.
Mr. Ashraf Abushady, General Manager (Sales, Marketing and Distribution) of Masafi said: "Masafi is proud to have won these special awards, which are apt recognition of our transformation from a top local UAE company to the leading producer of high quality world-class mineral water in the entire Gulf region. As a home-grown brand, Masafi has achieved its present level of success as a result of its commitment to quality and innovative marketing and production strategies.
He added: "These awards are also testimony of the great support and dedication of our numerous business partners, distributors and associates, who have played a major role in making Masafi a generic name for mineral water in the Gulf".
Masafi has been the market leader for the past 28 years in the mineral water business in the UAE and GCC states. The company aims to enhance its market leadership by continuously enhancing the excellence of its wide range of products through its commitment to innovation and providing safe and healthy drinking water.
