NBK at Rebuild Iraq 2004 exhibition

National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), the largest financial institution in Kuwait and the Middle East, announced today that it will be participating in the Rebuild Iraq 2004 exhibition that will be held on the 19th of January 2004 in Kuwait International Fairs Ground.
Ms. Shaikha Al-Bahar, General Manager Corporate Banking Group at NBK said that NBK participates in this event to offer all the trade finance and banking services locally and regionally for companies and institutions that are interested in rebuilding Iraq. She stated that NBK's experience in trade finance services, LC's and LG's makes NBK the best choice for the largest companies in Kuwait for its local and international coverage of these services. NBK is the only Arabic Bank that has been selected within a consortium of more than a dozen international banks to facilitate the trading needs of Iraq at this stage mainly import and export operations indicates the international challenging ability of NBK.
NBK has recently won the "best trade finance bank in Kuwait and the Middle East" for 2004 from Global Finance. NBK has long been distinguished by having the highest credit rating given to any Bank in the region by international rating agencies including Moody's, FitchRating, S&P and Capital Intelligence.
