Emirates Bank Group launches meINSURANCE

Launched through Heritage Insurance Brokers LLC and developed with the expertise of both Emirates Bank and National General Insurance, meINSURANCE, is a range of insurance products designed to cater to the UAE customer's specific savings, investment and insurance needs, through four products: Education plan, Retirement plan, Term life plan and Personal accident plan.

The Retirement and Education plans, are Saving/Investment Plans, they allow customers to build their retirement capital or children's university funds through moderate monthly payments whilst also offering an insurance cover in the event of death or disability of the insured as per the terms of the policy. On the other hand, falling under the category of protection plans, the Personal Accident and the Term Life Plans cover customers in the event of death or disability.

Dr. Abdul Zahra A Ali General Manager of National General Insurance Company added: "Bancassurance is a unique product and the sales process has been developed specifically for Emirates Bank International customers at a low cost. The products have been designed by NGI and Swiss-Re, one of the leading reinsurers in the world".

In addition to moderate monthly payments, meINSURANCE offers an array of benefits, such as flexible time periods, automatic debit of the customer's Emirates Bank account for monthly premiums and customisable insurance plans based on customer's requirements. As well as a minimum guaranteed rate of 2% and an annual escalation rate to protect against inflation on the savings/investment plans.

This launch highlights Emirates Bank's commitment to provide the best and up-to-date products and services to customers, with National General Insurance providing the bank with innovative and competitive insurance products.

meINSURANCE products will be made available shortly through the following Emirates Bank branches: Jumeirah, Al Maktoum Road, Souq and Sharjah.
