The red colored notebook, aimed at fast-moving people who want both modern style and practical convenience, celebrates Acer's appointment as an official supplier to the Ferrari Formula One team, and is set to be the highlight of Acer's offerings during the month long festival starting on January 15.
The wide screen Aspire 2000 with Intel Centrino technology will also be on sale for people who want their notebooks to be at the height of urban sophistication. The three-kilogram computer has a solid aluminum casing, providing durability and style.
"This range of notebooks offers the latest technology combined with elegant design and practicality. The Ferrari 3000 is making its debut at the Dubai Shopping Festival, and is sure to attract a lot of attention," said Philip Ashkar, director of sales and marketing, Acer Computer (M.E.) Ltd.
Special offers on the new models will be available through Acer's officially authorized resellers in the UAE, including Alpha Data, Aptec Gulf LLC, CompuMe, Jumbo Electronics, Redington, SMB Computers and Tech Data.
Deals will be available on Acer's range of TravelMate notebooks, including the 240 and 250 models and the 290 with Intel Centrino technology.
"We are pleased to be taking part in another DSF, offering our customers a wide choice of notebooks, PCs, monitors, and handhelds. Acer aims to provide the right combination of technical advancement, delivered in an attractive style. This year's highlights prove just that," Ashkar concluded.
Acer staff will be on hand during the month-long festival, to help and advise customers about the range of products on offer.
