Kempinski Grand Hotel Heiligendamn participates in Arab Health
- United Arab Emirates: Saturday, January 17 - 2004 at 11:58
- PRESS RELEASE
Five stars for health and wellbeing; Kempinski Grand Hotel Heiligendamm, the newly opened flagship of the German luxury hotel sector - is entering the Arab market with a spectacular range of services.
The medical partners in the Kempinski Health Partnership for heart patients are the Department of Cardiology and Vascular Medicine of the University of Rostock and the Median Clinic in Heiligendamm for rehabilitation. For patients suffering from musculoskeletal diseases, the Kempinski Grand Hotel Heiligendamm is working together with the Rostock Clinic "South" in and with the Moorbad Rehabilitation Clinic in Bad Doberan. The noted Clinic "South" belongs to the historic University of Rostock, which was founded in 1419, making it the oldest university in Northern Europe. For centuries its medical faculty has stood for innovation and modern therapy procedures.
All four partners are specialists in their field: the Moorbad rehabilitation clinic in Bad Doberan is the best address for chronic pain, successfully treated cancer illnesses that leave damage to the muscoskeletal system, and for rheumatic diseases. The main specialisation of the Rostock Clinig "South" is the treatment of oncological and visceral illnesses and traumatology. The Department of Cardiology and Vascular Medicine of the University of Rostock specialises in the acute and chronic treatment of heart conditions. The Median clinic in Heiligendamm offers excellent rehabilitation services for this, based on holistic medical concepts, in which patients are considered in their unity of body and soul - "Median" means "located in the middle".
A Kempinski office in Dubai and the hotel take care of all the travel details for the patients and those accompanying them, coordinate the contact between the clinics and the hotel and organise the necessary transfers. Regardless of whether patients require treatment for acute illnesses, aftercare or preventative health measures - the four clinics and the Kempinski Grand Hotel Heiligendamm develop an individual plan for each patient, which combines optimal medical care and a maximum of recuperation, relaxation and enjoyment.
The unequalled charm of the White Town by the Sea - as Heiligendamm is still known today - is the source of the legendary reputation of this first German coastal resort. Kings, Czars, famous composers and writers used to refresh themselves here over the summer. The Kempinski luxury hotel group has revived this legend, redeveloped the unique ensemble of classicist villas with a great deal of flair and instinct, and reopened it this year as the elegant Grand Hotel.
Mr. Thomas Klippstein, General Manager of the Kempinski Grand Hotel Heiligendamm would be happy to give you additional information and can be found at the exhibition, Hall 5, Stand No. 593.
