According to Daniela Rose, Project Manager, this year's show, market and branded under the well-known name 'Gulf Beauty' for the last eight years, is poised to break all records in terms of exhibitor and visitor numbers.

About 400 exhibitors from over 30 countries will take part in the 9th international trade fair for some of the world's best and latest beauty and body products, cosmetics, perfumery, salons and wellness, i.e. a 30 percent increase in exhibitors compared to 2003. The show attracts visitors from all over the Gulf, the Indian subcontinent, Africa, the CIS republics, the Far East and Europe, and exhibitors from more than 30 countries worldwide. 'This year's show will feature at least 13 national pavilions and a variety of individual exhibitors', said Daniela Rose. The number of visitors is expected to rise up to 6,800, and state-of-the-art data base management will see an enhancement of visitor's quality. The overall exhibition space will be extended from 5,600 sqm (in 2003) up to 8,000 sqm.

For the first time ever a new 'show inside the show' will be held parallel in hall no. 3 of the Dubai World Trade Centre: the 'Wellness & Spas Middle East', the regions first international platform for the professional wellness and spa industry focusing on suppliers of products, treatments and equipment for the use in spas, as well as on the worldwide facilities themselves. 'There is a growing demand for wellness and spas products, treatments, equipment and facilities in the Middle East. Every mall, residential building, and hotel currently built, hosts at least one gym and one spa. The new show makes allowance for this development', said Michael El Nayal, Managing Partner, Epoc Messe Frankfurt. Exhibitors of this show will include operators of hotels, spas, wellness / fitness / health centres, leisure and sports clubs, medical facilities, beauty salons, consultants, anti-ageing clinics, suppliers and more. 'We receive very good feedback regarding our decision to establish a new show. Both new and existing exhibitors embrace the Wellness & Spas Middle East as an individual platform for their industry', said Daniela Rose, Project Manager, Wellness & Spas Middle East.

Parallel to the trade fair a conference focusing on the needs of decision makers opening or relaunching wellness and spa facilities will take place. Worldwide renowned speakers will talk about the latest developments in order to successfully operate spas and related facilities.

Beautyworld Middle East / Gulf Beauty will be supported by German Cosmetic, Perfumery and Detergent Association (Germany), Barcelona Chamber of Commerce (Spain), Birmingham Chamber of Commerce (UK), Thai Trade Centre (Thailand/U.A.E.) and UBI France (France).
