New Director of Sales and Marketing at Radisson SAS Resort, Taba

The 44-year-old Egyptian/Canadian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Management from Cairo's Helwan University, and his career spans 20 years.

He began his hospitality career with the Hilton Group in Egypt, moving to the Mövenpick and Safir Hotel groups in Egypt, before a two year stint in Canada with American Express and the Hilton Group.

Moving back to his native Egypt, Magdi's career continued with RCI Egypt and Accor Hotels, then at the Renaissance Sharm El Sheikh Golden View Beach Resort as a member of the pre-opening team, before joining Radisson SAS Hotels and Resorts..

Married with two children, the new Sales and Marketing Director is fluent in written and spoken English, French and Arabic, and brings a great deal of experience to the 348-bedroomed resort.

Magdi is a member of the Executive Committee of the hotel and manages a team of five people at the impressive property.

The magnificent seaside property nestles on the banks of the Red Sea, and overlooks the Sinai Mountains. It features a private beach, two swimming pools, a children's pool, a diving and water sports centre, two tennis courts, as well as a well-equiped gym, sauna, steam bath, whirlpool, massage and treatment room.
