Explore Europe with Lufthansa

Flights can be booked with any Star Alliance member flying to popular European countries, giving passengers living outside Europe a chance to explore the continent.

"Lufthansa, along with its Star Alliance partners, is pleased to develop programmes for the benefit of our customers," said Uwe Wriedt, Lufthansa General Manager, Passenger Sales for UAE and Director for Gulf, Iran and Pakistan. "The Europe airpass provides a great opportunity for people wanting to explore and experience the different parts of Europe.

"The cost of the coupons depend on the number of miles customers choose to travel. For instance, passengers booking additional flights can purchase the airpass from any Lufthansa office, or designated travel agent outside Europe. The further you fly, the more the airpass will cost," added Wriedt.

The special fares apply for the economy class service and must be paid in US dollars, or its equivalent value in the country it is purchased in. The coupons are available to residents of a country outside Europe and are valid for a whole year.

The Star Alliance airpass is limited to a minimum of three coupons, or three additional flights, per passenger, with travellers being able to add up to ten destinations to their itinerary by purchasing a maximum of ten coupons. Passengers can spend a minimum of 24 hours, or a maximum stay of three months, in each destination.
