Safa Park to host arts and crafts market from Thursday

The Safa Park will host from Thursday, as part of the Dubai Shopping Festival Activities, the Palm Lane Arts and Craft Market, which offers a new shopping, experience for the whole family.
The goods on sale will include decoupage wooden items, hand-made duvet covers, handbag straps made from semi precious stones, handmade baby crib bedding, African candles, silk paintings, handmade jewellery set with desert diamonds, greeting cards, wire cutlery, silver jewellery, baby hand/feet imprints, African artefacts, shoes, tablecloths, runners, shirts, blouses, cushions, carpets, rugs and wonderful gifts depicting Dubai to take home for tourists.
"We invite the public to visit this wonderful open air arts and craft market, situated at Safa Park, under the shade of the Palm trees. There are loads of wonderful arts and crafts from all over the world, hand made by crafters. The stalls are multicultural with crafters from the UAE, South Africa, UK, Australia, India and Thailand, among others," said Al Fardan.
He noted that shoppers looking for tailor-made gifts could get the goods according to their choice of colours, size and types.
For children, lots of fun games and activities have been planned. While the elders shop, the youngsters can enjoy poultry making, henna painting, face painting, jungle jumps and loads of other fun activities for the kids.
