- PRESS RELEASE
Audi Middle East and Egypt has concluded a two-day conference for its network of importers, held in Dubai from 27-28th January.
"Audi enjoyed another year of positive growth in the Middle East in 2003 and we are looking forward to capitalising on this success and increasing our market-share aggressively over the coming years," said R. Weyler.
"The theme of our conference and the key driver behind our strategy for the region is 'Strive for Excellence'. This will be inherent in everything we do, and will enhance our consumer's overall experience and enjoyment of the Audi brand".
The Audi A8 will continue to be a key element of the regional strategy. In 2003, the world's sportiest limousine achieved staggering growth figures of 116% over the previous year, largely attributable to a region-wide strategic focus across the year.
In addition Audi will be introducing a variety of new sporty, luxury models throughout the year, from the entry-level to the high-end, further widening its appeal to consumers seeking the ultimate combination of sports driving, luxury and safety in one car.
A large investment in human resources and facilities was also announced by Audi during the conference. The development programme will enhance skills and tools available to showroom personnel and service engineers, and increase business efficiencies in order to improve the overall customer experience.
"Today, Audi enjoys the status of being a premium brand, with premium products and facilities", said Ali Bilaloglu, managing director, Audi Middle East and Egypt.
"However we will strive to continuously improve the entire customer experience from pre-sale to service. Alongside our importer network, Audi will be investing heavily in training and facilities over the coming 12 months to ensure that our already high standards of customer service reach even new heights", he added.
The conference, held annually was attended by Audi importers from across the region, including the GCC, Levant and Near East.
