- PRESS RELEASE
Shell Markets Middle East has held its annual sales conference for its Central Asia distributors in Dubai to discuss expanding business opportunities for Shell in these markets in 2004.
Over the three-day conference, distributors from eight countries gathered to evaluate what has been a highly successful 2003 for Shell in the region, and to review strategies to continue building this momentum over the next 12 months.
Said S. Natarajan, General Manager (Commercial) UAE and Central Asia, Shell Markets Middle East: "Over the years, the annual sales conference has consistently proven to be an excellent platform to brainstorm strategies, discuss plans for enhancing Shell business operations in the Central Asia region and review what worked and what didn't over the past year. Equally important, the conference brings everybody together fostering a team spirit that is essential in a working environment."
Leonid Lyubimov, Managing Director TOO Lubell, Shell's distributor in Kazakhstan, commented: "Shell is probably the only company in the Kazakhstan Market that has managed to create a strong team of like-minded individuals, united under one slogan; our principles of mutual aid, understanding, team effort, and success for all"
The conference culminated in a ceremony where four distributors from Kazakhstan were presented awards for the best sales achievement, in addition to a certificate of appreciation for every distributor.
