Texpo - presenting new technology from world leaders

Texpo 2004 will present new technology from world leadeing brands in garnment manufacturing.

"The tenth edition of Texpo at Expo Centre Sharjah offers garment manufacturers from the MENA region an exciting chance to see the latest innovations and breakthroughs in technology and products in action," said Mr. Fasahat Ali Khan, Deputy Director General of Expo Centre Sharjah.

Texpo, which is the Middle East's only exhibition dedicated to the complete requirements of garment manufacturers, will be held from 15 to 19 February 2004 at Expo Centre Sharjah.

"Al Borj Garment Machinery Tr. Co. Ltd," said Mr. Shaafat Ali Khan, General Manager of Al Borj, "which is the GCC's leading garment machinery supplier, will feature the latest range of machinery and equipment
from internationally renowned manufacturers such as Juki, ngoi Shing, Pegasus, AMF Reece, Barudan, Doory Industry, MECA Italy, Renaissance, Gerber Technology etc.

"Amongst them," he said, "Barudan will be presenting BEDSH series embroidery machines. The series has been a highly successful machine because of its high speed operation and unmatched productivity on all types of threads and designs."

Also at the Al Borj pavilion, Juki will be presenting its Automatic Pocket Setter For Jeans, Automatic Belt Loop Attaching Machine, Electronic Bartack Machine, and its Electronic Eyelet Button Hole Machine. MECA from Italy will be displaying a wide range of quilting technology, including multi needle and double chain stitch technology for quilting, and encoding machines for quilts and apparels. At the same, Gerber Technologies will be launching Version 8 of Gerber AccuMark, which sets a new benchmark in CAD systems in the world.

Forum Garments, a regular participant at the show dealing in various types of dyes, pigments, chemicals and finishing equipment for garments will bring the latest products of companies such as Gfk Laser-Spain, Kinder-UK, Veit-Germany, Macpy-Italy, Stirovap-Italy, Ramsons-India, Presto-India, Jeans Care-UK etc.

"The highlight of Forum Garments exhibit will be a new laser technology from GFK Spain, which can inscribe any type of design, logos, patterns on most types of fabrics with 100% consistency and accuracy. Other attractions at their stand include auto feeding and mixing systems by Kinder UK for automatic mixing, measuring and feeding of dyes and chemicals; Auto Spray M/C, ideal for spraying chemicals, pigments and various other coatings on garments. Also,
Veit Germany, Macpy-Italy & Stirovap-Italy will be displaying their latest equipment for pressing and finishing of garments, while Jeans Care UK will unveil their latest trends and finishes on garments," said Mr. S.K. Bhatt Managing Director.

Star Sewing Machine Trading Co., another prominent exhibitor at the show features the latest innovations from Durkopp Adler AG, Osaka, Oshima, Lectra, Mitsubishi, Kingtex, Rhein Nadel, Tajima, Toyota, Rotondi and more. Mr. Aftab Hashim, Managing Director of the company, said; "Launches at our stand include the SmartMRT Unit Production Hanger System, with the capability of automatically delivering a piece of cloth to a target work station according to a planned work flow schedule. Rhein Nadel, a German company which has had a remarkable breakthrough in needle manufacturing technology, will be presenting needles with never-known precision and tight tolerance for the first time in this region".

The fare at Oubari Gulf's pavilion includes electronic flat knitting machines from Stoll - Germany, industrial sewing machines from Sunstar Machinery Co. Ltd., seamless circular knitting machines from Santoni - Italy, sewing and knitting needles from Groz - Beckert, industrial sewing machines from Siruba, and CAD/CAM systems from Investronica - Spain.

Transgulf Enterprises, another prominent supplier in the UAE, will be demonstrating technology from Brother (electronic eyelet button holer, electronic lockstitch pattern tacker etc.), PFAFF(machines for clothing upholstery and leather; embroidery
machines etc.), JIM Automatic Machines (Programmable automatic sewing machines, automatic pocket hemming machines etc.), Meyer, Eastman, Cerliani, Schmetz, Veit, and more.

A first time participant at the show, China Typical Sewing Machine Group Ltd from China, will bring their latest industrial lockstitch machines, overlock machines, interlock chainstitch machines, zigzag machines, etc.

The show will be open everyday from 15 to 19 February 2004 from 11 am to 8 pm strictly for trade.
