  • PRESS RELEASE

Qatar Foundation, a leading non-profit educational, science and community development organization, is set to provide more efficient and streamlined services with the implementation of the Oracle E-Business Suite of solutions that offers business flow automation in a paperless environment.

The project has been implemented by Hyperlink, an Oracle Certified Advantage Partner for implementation and consultancy services company in the Middle East, by deploying Oracle Financials and Oracle Human Resources Management System to integrate various centers and provide accurate information, timely reporting, embedded operational and financial control as well as budget control.

"As a committed non-profit educational and development organization, Qatar Foundation has been faced with the challenging of automating its business processes, with the expansion of its activities focused on HR development," said Dr. Yo Maruno, Acting Managing Director, Qatar Foundation. "It was, therefore, essential to migrate our systems to advanced Web-enabled processes that are dramatically altering the way people do business. Hyperlink, with its extensive experience in installing customized IT solutions and its knowledge of the Qatari market, was our choice as the systems integrator."

"Our brief was to create a centralized solution to integrate the multiple centers as Qatar Foundation has several inter-related bodies under its umbrella. This required a full assessment of the operations and operating procedures of all the centers," said Ananth Swaminath, Director Business Solutions of Hyperlink. "The project also included data conversion. The whole project was implemented through constant consulting and support sessions. Hyperlink also provided training to the managers of the various centers and at the central administration-level".

"We engineered the Oracle Applications based solution to provide a fully automated financial, procurement and HR system for Qatar Foundation, helping it upgrade its level of services and speed up exchange of information," said Dani Diad, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Hyperlink. "The new solution will streamline the finance, accounts and budgeting functions, introduce strategic procurement solution capabilities, and allow Qatar Foundation to transform its organization into a learning organization through the deployment of enabling processes in its human resource function. Finally, the implementation of the Oracle E-Business Suite will facilitate the foundation to emerge as a world class, adaptive, professional non-profit organization.
