Salem Bin Dasmal appointed the Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Tourism Development Company

Mohammed Al Gergawi, Chairman of the Board, Dubai Development and Investment Authority (DDIA) announced the appointment of Salem Bin Dasmal as the Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Tourism Development Company (DTDC) which manages the 'Dubailand', the first project of its kind for family tourism in the Middle East.
Bin Dasmal will bring his experience and knowledge to the Company, as he was one of the team members who worked on the development of the 'Dubailand' project.
Salem Bin Dasmal said, "I am honoured to have been trusted to manage the 'Dubailand' project as it represents one of the biggest and most important tourism projects in the Middle East. DTDC will provide all facilities needed for investors in the project that has gained so much attention since its announcement."
Din Dasmal added, "Dubai Development Tourism Company will offer a "single-window" of services for investors and project executers. The company will also play a dynamic role in the growth and prosperity of the tourism sector in Dubai by identifying and promoting available investment opportunities and executing agreements and deals about select programs."
He said, "Dubailand project is expected to add a qualitative value to the tourism sector in the region, as it represents an attractive destination for families and individuals and is relatively competitive with other internationally recognized projects."
Bin Dasmal has Bachelors in Engineering, M.B.A and Masters in Accounting from California University. He held the position of Deputy Manager, Dubai Development and Investment Authority. Bin Dasmal also worked at the Emirates Bank International for two years and was the Manager of Ernest and Young for four years.
