Deputy PM of Oman visits Carpet and Souvenir Oasis

HH Mr. Fahad Bin Mahmoud Al Saeed, Deputy Prime Minister of Oman visited the Carpet and Souvenir Oasis along with Mr. Hussain Abdul Nabi, Communications Manager at His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Saeed's Office and Mr. Saud Abdul Aziz, General Manager, Deputy Prime Minister's Office.
HH Mr. Fahad Bin Mahmoud Al Saeed had high words of praise for the Oasis and the people responsible for its organisation. He also made a special comment about certain carpets made out of wool and silk, dating back to approximately 150 years.
HH said, "It is indeed true that Dubai has become a local, regional and international hub for many events and unique exhibitions such as the Carpet Oasis, one of the most distinct events held during Dubai Shopping Festival."
The Carpets and Souvenirs Oasis, located at the West Hall of the Airport Expo is open to visitors from 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM. The Oasis will remain open from 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM on Fridays. The Oasis features live demonstrations of carpet making.
