Geevs V4 technology offers a powerful set of features and options for use on sports, news and studio production. This is in addition to all the standard Geevs ingest/playout functionality and high reliability as demanded by today's broadcasters.

Geevs is being shown on the Gee Broadcast stand in the UK pavilion at CABSAT from Feb 8-10.

Keith Gee, MD of Gee Broadcast, said: "We chose CABSAT for this major launch, because it attracts leading broadcasters from all over the Middle East. Geevs is already doing very well in Europe and with that market established, we felt it was the right time to look at the many exciting opportunities the Middle East is now offering."

Geevs provides flexible and expandable media storage, management and playout facilities. Systems start with a 2RU single-channel server, but can be expanded to 20+ channels, with many terabytes of storage. A range of control and software options address applications including sports, news, studio production, manual and automated transmission playout, time delay, and archiving.
