- PRESS RELEASE
The Hotel Angleterre & Résidence, sister hotel of the famous Beau-Rivage Palace in Lausanne, Switzerland has launched a dedicated website (www.angleterre-residence.ch )and brochure as part of its efforts to reach potential guests in the Middle East and around the globe.
Many visitors from the Middle East are already familiar with the grandeur and elegance of the Beau-Rivage Palace and can now also try its boutique sized sister property, which will be of particular interest to families and individuals preferring contemporary style and a homely atmosphere on their travels.
Situated adjacent to the Beau-Rivage Palace and offering magnificent views of the lake, the six distinct pavilions which comprise the hotel offer a mixture of 18th century and contemporary architecture surrounded by a private garden, and feature a wide range of modern conveniences.
All 75 rooms and suites are individually decorated and offer direct dial telephone, pay television, internet television access, modem plugs, air conditioning and minibar. Significantly, the hotel offers guests the same exquisite standard of service which has made the larger, classical style Beau-Rivage Palace a popular choice.
Guests also have free access to the Beau-Rivage Palace fitness centre with its two tennis courts, sauna and turkish bath. There are two private meeting rooms, each for up to 30 people, and banqueting facilities hosting up to 100 guests for exclusive social functions.
"We're offering our guests the chance to enjoy the best of Swiss hospitality in a discrete and relaxing setting, and we expect to be welcoming many Middle East visitors in the months and years ahead, particularly during the summer and holiday periods."
True to the Beau-Rivage Palace tradition, guests at the Hotel Angleterre & Résidence have the option of a limousine pick-up for a 40-minute trip from Geneva Cointrin Airport in a luxurious chauffeur-driven Rolls-Royce.
Swiss International Airlines operates 31 weekly flights from the Middle East to Zurich - including a daily service from Dubai, and others from Cairo, Muscat, Jeddah and Riyadh - with 14 daily connecting flights to Geneva.
