GFC, which is aiming to be the largest master franchisee in the Gulf, says it will be offering sub-franchise opportunities to businessmen and entrepreneurs.

GFC plans to put four top brands in the limelight at the show, which will be held at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre from February 17 to 19, 2004. The brands include, the French 5 A SEC dry cleaning centres, the UK's Pitman shorthand training institute, Kwik Kopy Business Centres and Computer TroubleShooters.

"These opportunities are currently available for development in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Iran," said Yasser Kouatly, Assistant Vice President, GFC.

"At the show we want to inform entrepreneurs about the different opportunities they could benefit from by teaming up with GFC. Entrepreneurs will not only be exposed to successful and well-established brands, but they will also be receiving all the support needed in regards to outfitting, training, operations and marketing."

FME 2004 is being organised by International Expo-Consults (IEC) and presented on behalf of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment For Young Business Leaders.

"Exhibitors from over 15 countries are expected to participate bringing with them a world class portfolio of opportunities available for franchising throughout the Middle East and Africa," said Mohammed Falaknaz, Vice Chairman, IEC.
