DCCI receives the Director of the Arab-American Chamber

Mr. Abdul Rahman Ghanim Al Mutaiwee, the Director General of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce 7 Industry received Mr. Nasser M. Beydoun, the Director of the American Arab Chamber of Commerce based in Detroit, Michigan.

The meeting was also attended by Hisham Al Shirawi, a member of Dubai Chamber's Board of Directors, Captain H. Salloum, the Managing Director of "New Dimension in Global Shipping", and Kenneth Mc Donald, EVP-Business Strategy Development.

In the meeting they discussed the results of the Arab-American Economic Forum last October, and the reflections of Dubai's participants. The Dubai Chamber took part in the forum as part of a large economic delegation representing Dubai, headed by Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, the Chairman of the DCCI. The delegation included some representatives of the government of Dubai, and business sectors in the emirate.

Beydoun said that a delegation of 30 legislators from the State of Michigan legistlative council, intends on visiting Dubai next May.

Captain Salloum discussed the possible cooperation between Dubai's government and his company in relation to the advanced technology to secure shipments and transportation.
