In a joint initiative between the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the UK Trade and Investment and the Egyptian British Chamber of Commerce, the Mission aims to identify and explore trade and investment opportunities in both Egyptian and British markets.
The delegation composed of 27 Egyptian SMEs working in the field of telecom services and software will meet with members of the Egyptian British Chamber of Commerce; where Minister Nazif will be presenting the latest achievements in the Egyptian ICT field; and the investment opportunities and incentives offered by the Government of Egypt in this regard.
To promote Egypt's thriving call centers' industry, and benefit from the UK business experience, the Minister will also be visiting and touring the facilities of Vodafone & HSBC and BTEC Call Centers to find out the latest in operations and marketing for those centers. Moreover, HE will also meet with officials in the UK government to share experiences in the fields of post, e-government, and e-commerce applications.
Notably, this visit aims to promote and open new venues to the Egyptian ICT industry, with an aim to attract investments utilizing local resources: namely advanced modern telecom infrastructure, and world-class human resource skilled to operate the latest technologies, and trained to the customer requirements.

Heading a business delegation to London, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Ahmed Nazif presents Egypt's partnership opportunities for British firms to reinforce the long-term Egyptian-British economic and trade ties.
