BearingPoint and Fujitsu Siemens Computers tie up to deliver advanced end-to-end IT solutions
- United Arab Emirates: Monday, February 16 - 2004 at 14:44
- PRESS RELEASE
Fujitsu Siemens Computers (FSC), the leading international IT company, and BearingPoint, one of the world's largest business consulting, systems integration and managed services firms, have announced a partnership to help customers maximize technology to enhance their specific business model in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions.
"The key element of the partnership between FSC and BearingPoint is to offer improved efficiency and lower risks for customers in EMEA," said Colin Britto, Sales Manager, Large Enterprises, Gulf Region, Fujitsu Siemens Computers. "We will be able to provide service from a single source and combine our expertise to produce optimal customer solutions. For FSC, this means a continuation of its existing business model to work with best-in-class partners and a further extension of the indirect sales channel in the major customer market segment."
"Implementing critical IT projects requires deep customer knowledge, an understanding of critical business issues facing businesses as well as skill, knowledge and experience in both technical aspects and business process," added Britto. "Through this alliance, BearingPoint and FSC will use their experience to focus on demonstrated methods designed to increase innovation and reduce customer risk in addition to the critical need to increase productivity gains and cost efficiency."
"We are looking forward to partner with FSC to provide IT solutions which help our customers to gain return on investment (ROI) and improve efficiency and cost reduction," said Michael J. Donahue, Chief Operating Officer, BearingPoint.
"Our alliance with FSC will concentrate on delivering IT expertise in areas like SAP, IT consolidation and Mobile Solutions where both companies have core competencies and experience," added Uwe Achterholt, Vice President of BearingPoint and in charge for the alliance with Fujitsu Siemens Computers.
The alliance is mainly structured to provide customers innovative solutions. It will also allow both parties to resell each other's products and services, offer joint training and customer seminars, which is expected to provide business growth for both companies. In addition, the alliance will be supported through joint marketing and communications activities. The alliance starts with the organizations in Germany in December 2003 and will roll out to the other EMEA countries throughout 2004.
