CitiGold Corporation ties up with Zee Television Network to create a new image for Zee Cine Awards 2004

The design of the trophy is extremely distinctive and different from any other trophy design across the world, adding prestige to the event.

'The gold touch comes to the Zee Cine Awards, for the first time, in the City of Gold,' says Mr. Manan Desai, Chief Operating Officer of Citigold Corporation for Middle East and Indian subcontinent.

The principles behind the Zee Cine Awards have been kept in mind while designing the trophy. 'This has been achieved in association with the trophy's creator - the innovative Citigold Corporation, an experienced gold company.'

This is what the Zee Cine Awards is all about. Not only rewarding excellence in the Indian film industry but doing that in style. 'The Zee Cine trophy is 500 mm in height and 100 mm by width. The futuristic design incorporates the Zee hallmark. And the gold-plate adds glitter to the fact that the awards ceremony is being held in Dubai - the city of gold,' says Mr Desai.

'In fact, the keen interest of Citigold Corporation in Dubai has only added more glamour to the awards ceremony. Citigold was always keen in the Middle East and we have marveled at the growth of UAE, in particular. Hence, we have set up base in the Gold and Diamond Park in Dubai. Since the Zee Cine Awards were taking place for the first time in Dubai, we thought it was a golden opportunity for us to expand our gold brand in the region,' says Mr. Mark Lynch, Managing Director, CitiGold Corporation.
