Visitors to the mega mall, which hopes to attract 35 million visitors in the first year, can opt for Local, Continental, Mediterranean, Asian and a variety of other International cuisines, offered in its two food courts, speciality restaurants and other dining areas.
Said Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Executive Director, Retail, EMAAR Properties: 'As developers of the world's largest shopping mall, The Dubai Mall, we recognise that dining forms an integral part of the overall shopping experience.'
'Visitors to The Dubai Mall will be spoilt for choices owing to the wide-ranging selection of sumptuous food offered in the mall's fine dining restaurants and food courts, thereby ensuring that they walk away with memories of a perfect trip replete with quality shopping and dining, ' he continued.
For an outdoor dining experience, visitors can head to the first food court situated at Level 2 of The Mall. Lush indoor landscape features surrounding the seating areas, and naturally lit courtyards will provide the perfect ambience for a pleasant outdoors meal.
SPOON the second food court, strategically located on the lower ground of the Mall, right next to its entrance, will offer fantastic views of the Burj Dubai Tower. Contemporary in design, it will boast a Juice and Beverage bar, in addition to eating outlets offering a selection of popular cuisines ranging from Italian, Mexican to Lebanese and Japanese, all available at affordable prices.
The key attraction, however, will be the Al Fresco dining fronting the Burj Lake. Spectacular views of the world's tallest tower and the surrounding Burj Dubai development will complement the experience of dining in the cool outdoors on the Boardwalk next to the scenic lake.
The Boardwalk will also host speciality restaurants facing the Burj Lake where diners can enjoy a selection of world-class cuisines including Western, Asian and Middle Eastern in the sophisticated interiors of the upscale eateries.
'A combination of quality food, affordable price and a scenic ambience is the perfect recipe for a great dining experience. With our diverse restaurants and food courts, The Dubai Mall aims to provide just that.
The wide selection of food offered at The Dubai Mall is sure to satisfy the taste buds of our multi-ethnic visitors of all age groups, and will go a long way in making The Dubai Mall the ultimate destination for shopping, food and entertainment.' concluded Al Hashemi.
The Dubai Mall project, a nine million square feet shopping colossus, will be an integral part of the Burj Dubai development. The scheme will include a five million square foot mall, residential and retail amenities. The mall itself, equivalent to the size of more than 50 international-class soccer pitches, will be the largest shopping space in the world, bigger than Edmonton Mall, Canada, and much larger than the Mall of America, in Bloomington, St. Paul, Minnesota.
Its comprehensive trade tenant mix will cater to individuals of all ages, gender, nationalities and demographics and includes attractions such as the world's largest indoor Gold Souq, Waterfront Atrium, Oasis Fountain, Fashion Island, Ice Oval, The Aquarium and Kiddy Land.
