Mohammed Bin Rashid Programme for Leadership Development hosts the 4th session for young leaders

Mohammed Bin Rashid Programme for Leadership Development, which is the first program of its kind in the Middle East - organized its fourth round with the participation of 30 employees from Government and private sectors.

Mariam Al Falahi, Coordinator for Mohammed bin Rashid Programme for Leadership Development said, "Organizing this session is part of the business plan which was put together after launching the Programme by the directives of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Minster of Defence. The business plan is of two years duration and will include a comprehensive calendar of training workshops."

She added, "The fourth session which was of two days duration included interactive workshops lead by the international expert in communication, Joseph Slye, Founder and Chief Executive of Slye Communication and focused on how to deliver an effective speech."

Talking about the aims of the Leadership Programme Al Falahi said that the Mohammed bin Rashid Programme for Leadership Development is designed to develop future leaders of Dubai. "We have designed a customized, team-based leadership development programme where groups can learn together and then apply their learning directly to real business issues."

She said that besides the role of the Programme in the development of the skills and qualifications of UAE nationals to face future challenges and participate in the growth of the UAE, the Programme will also help in catalyzing the coordination between Government and private sector and build comprehensive network between the various business sectors.

The programme is being conducted in cooperation with the most important international business colleges and will play an active role in supporting and developing leadership talents in the UAE. It will offer opportunities and act as a bridge for communication between businesses and the future generation of leaders.

The Program has conducted three previous sessions, which include workshops designed to improve the qualifications of young leaders and enable them to handle their future responsibilities successfully.
