Al Jaber Optical Centre, one of the leading optical companies in UAE, announced their participation in 'The Dubai Tennis Championships 2004' as they play a key sponsor in this year's open tournament.
Many of the top players in the world are set to take part in this tournament including some of the great names in the game. The tournament is open for men and women and will be running from 23rd February till 7th March 2004 at Dubai Tennis Stadium, Aviation Club.
2004 is set to be a momentous year for sport in the Middle East and for two weeks, the pick of the top 10 players from the world of men's and women's tennis will ensure the global sporting spotlight is fixed on the Middle East's leisure capital for one of the most prestigious fortnights on the tennis calendar. Players like reigning champion Justine Henin-Hardenne, American superstar Venus Williams and Jelena Dokic are confirmed to play for the Dubai Duty Free Women's Open from February 23-28, while Wimbledon champion Roger Federer, Mark Phillipoussis and the ever popular Tim Henman will be playing in the Dubai Duty Free Men's Open from March 1-7.
