Honda Gulf celebrates its 10th anniversary in JAFZA

While addressing during an official ceremony conducted in Honda's premises in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Mr. Bin Sulayem stated that JAFZ is always keen on offering the best unique investment opportunities for both local and international companies and foreign investors. He said: "JAFZ has witnessed a huge growth the last years bexause of the increment of the number of global and local companies. More than 2600 companies are represented. JAFZ is a trade center and distribution center for for reaching Europe, Middle East, Africa and East of Asia Markets. JAFZA gives good attention to attract global companies because of its belief in wealthy opportunities that ensure their customers independency. Dubai is also positioned as a point between east and west."

Honda Gulf FZE was established on 01 March 1994 with the objective to strengthen Honda's sales service in this region. The Company is supplying spare parts for Honda products to the GCC and the surrounding region.

Mr. Sadao Ichimi, President of Honda Europe, declared that Honda wants to become a company that the society desires. "Honda's aim is not merely to satisfy the customer, but to exceed his expectation." He emphasized Honda's commitment to safety and environment, and added: "Spirited independence, self-innovation and self-challenge are the unique characteristics of Honda's culture."

Mr. Kazuhiro Suzuki, Managing Director of Honda Gulf FZE expressed satisfaction in the growth of the company during these ten years and the positive impact it has brought to Honda's business in this region. He disclosed that the annual sales of Honda Gulf FZE has more than doubled in ten years and the last two years have witnessed a 65% increase in turn-over. He said: "Honda Gulf FZE would further improve its operations in the coming years in order to achieve total customer satisfaction."

Mr. Suzuki remarked that the growth of Honda Gulf FZE is complementary to the growth of Dubai and it was a wise decision for Honda to have an operational center located in Dubai. The fact that Honda Gulf FZE is one of the early entrants into the Jebel Ali Free Zone speaks about Honda's commitment to customer service.

During the key ceremony, Bin Sulayem and Mr. Sadao Ichimi, President of Honda Europe unveiled a commemorative monument for the occasion in the presence of Kazuhiro Suzuki and Mr. Yukio Honda, General Manager, Honda Middle East Representative Office and all officials from both parties. The monument symbolizes the power Honda Gulf FZE's presence has brought to this region in the last ten years. This power is enhanced by Honda's superior technology.
