- PRESS RELEASE
Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts Board of Directors gathered at the Mövenpick Hotel Bur Dubai on 29th February 2004 for their first meeting of the New Year - and first time ever in Dubai.
Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts is a Swiss premium Hospitality Company with a portfolio of over 50 business and airport hotels, plus holiday resorts. This hotel management company concentrates its activities in Europe on metropolitan centres, the Middle East and North Africa.
The Mövenpick Hotel Bur Dubai opened in August 2003, and represents the Group's first venture into the UAE. Thomas Tapken, General Manager, says "We are delighted to welcome the first Board of Director's Meeting for 2004 to Dubai. Although it is a working visit, we have arranged for the Directors to sample some of the excitement of Dubai, and to go home with both great memories and unique souvenirs of their stay with us. Knowing Dubai, I have no doubt that they will return on vacation in the near future."
