70 percent of Jumeirah Lake Towers properties sold

Jumeirah Lake Towers, an ultra modern property development located just off Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, has met an 'incredible response' according to the developers.

70 percent of the 69 plots have been sold and Nakheel is in negotiations to complete transactions on the remaining plots. They attribute the success of this project to the powerful proposition that Nakheel has offered to investors.

"It is clear that there is enormous demand for top class high-rise property developments in Dubai but it is equally clear that potential investors demand the very best from developers. We worked very hard to ensure that Jumeirah Lake Towers met the highest international standards and the rapid sale of this project is testimony to the success of the Nakheel team."

"This development not only combines a series of attractive residential and commercial towers with retail outlets but also incorporates the clever use of water and landscaped gardens to make it a unique community environment to work or reside", Attalla further commented.

Comprising 69 uniquely designed towers Jumeirah Lake Towers will create a contemporary community within itself. Encompassing residential, office and retail outlets, the towers will be set in 23 clusters and placed together in groups of three and set amidst crystal clear lakes and flowing waterways.

An impressive 55storey tower will form the centrepiece of the community and house further offices, a hotel and a gold and diamond centre. Additionally, there will be retail and restaurant outlets and extensively manicured gardens.

In total, the project located just of Sheikh Zayed Road between Interchanges 5 and 6 will cover 1,144,579 square metres, with the man-made lakes covering an extensive 249,998 square metres in themselves. Retail space will cover 80,281 square metres.

Jumeirah Lake Tower's master plan has been carefully designed to encompass a range of quality lifestyle elements within the one community. Most notably, it will provide a self-contained village environment, with lakeside promenades, specialized restaurants, convenient shopping and apartments with tranquil views over the waterways and lakes.

Investors can choose to design their own tower or select from a range of designs proposed by Nakheel. The towers can be utilised solely for residential or commercial use or if the investor prefers a mix of residential and commercial.

The first stage of the project - grading and earthwork - is well underway and this will be followed by three further phases, infrastructure and excavation for the lakes, construction of buildings and car parks and finally landscaping.
